Papillon Breed history
At this breed there are two varieties: Papillon with straight ears and Phalene which has floppy ears. They’ve exactly the same origin and morphological characteristics and usages. The breed is recognized for more than 500 years. The Papillon appears in paintings of some artists like Titian, Goya, Rubens, Rembrandt and Van Dyck and sculptures from the XV-th century. Papillon Description
